The tracks were still in the crossing five years ago. There was even talk about extending the red car replica ops up the line!
The only hope this phl yo-yo had of hitting ANY water is the recent built dancing water fountain outside the cruise terminal (the fountain was also where the red car ops changed ends).
The track was last used by PHL for service to reach the very last customer on the line in 2008. The customer plant was demolished after that last shipment(which made the fire boat folks very happy).
The only thing that ran on this line since is:
AAPRCO (3751 which was cut off at redondo) in Sept 2008. (LA-SD-SP) The storage tracks AARPCO used are now gone.
and
Red Car ops (which ended in Sept 2015).
