The existing trestle is over seven thousand five hundred feet long.Probably the longest or one of the longest railroad trestles in California??? It would cost tens of millions to replace.All across America many shortline railroads are one bridge or one tunnel failure away from going bankrupt. I wonder how long the Skunk line another SERA property will last. They are mostly out of service with a collapsed tunnel very poor track and dependent on tourist spending .Covid-19?
