Hi Espee99:

I'm Mike Abernethy from IL. Just rechecked this site yesterday, after several months of not 'plugging in,' and was pleasantly surprised to see that someone was continuing assembling articles related to rail, especially passenger service. So, I'm taking time to thank you for doing this. I recognize it is almost undaunting to comb the multitude of places where all of these items come from. I for one really appreciate checking one site and finding so much information to increase my awareness of what is going on.

As a side note, I own former Burlington Route dome parlor Silver View. It is in rehab near St. Louis. Hopefully someday soon [about a year?] it will join the other active charter cars. My website is www.zephyrroute.com.
