Where's MY $100,000 Home Purchase Grant?

I suspect we'll see departures before long.

I'll believe it when I see it. That's one of Metrolink's biggest problems. They have people in high places making important decisions who don't really know all that much about railroading, and they just keep hanging on. They won't resign and no one has the "cajones" to fire them.

And did you like that part in the LA TIMES article where we learned that the taxpayers helped subsidize David Solow in the purchase of his home in Laguna Niguel to the tune of $100,000?

Even though he brings down $220,000 per year.

I think there's a name for that. It's called "welfare for the rich."
