Visitors are urged to the visit the Canteen exhibit at the County museum a few miles to the northwest.

Then come back to the site of the North Platte Depot, stand at the small bronze memorial and the grove of trees.

Shame, again, to the Union Pacific officer who ordered the destruction of the depot.
