At over 7000 feet long, it is quite possibly one of the longest trains to ever run on the old P&L line. It was also the first time ever that big six axle GE power was run on the line (three dash 9's, one dash 8). It was quite a sight to see such huge locomotives running on the little 80 lb rail that is in the Oakesdale WA yards.
