If it's a temporary thing based on lack of traffic during the Covid episodes, with a commitment to use the time productively by expediting rebuilds etc. on equipment and retraining crews to have them available when travel demand picks back up again, I can sort of see it. Could be worse: VIA simply killed the Canadian, probably permanently, which I'm sure is that Anderson really wants to do.
