I found it very surprising to see the sudden announcement regarding the Ponderay Newsprint closure. Especially since they just launched a new website and “rebranding”. As Bruce said, they keep plenty busy at their shop working on and painting other’s locomotives. I’m sure POVA has tried, but I’ve always wondered why Vaagen in Usk doesn’t utilize rail service. They ship a lot by rail from their Colville mill.
