Can't find this in one of the other threads - thought I saw it yesterday or today. Anyway, Capitol Corridor is proposing to move to the Coast Sub, dropping the Hayward stop entirely and moving the Fremont stop to a new station at Ardenwood. Environmental scoping meeting will be in July - they're asking for comments and you can sign up to attend the web conference.

One presumes that ACE will still use the present Fremont stop. ACE stopping at Ardenwood would require an out of direction move and changing ends - though one of the key points for the Ardenwood site is transbay bus connections which ACE might want to take advantage of. One new station alternative would be at Newark Jct., which ACE *could* use, but Cap Corridor doesn't like that spot.
