Reefers went to the general pool. Remember that most of the old SPFE/UPFE cars are hitting the 50 year mark which forces their retirement. If traffic levels recover, I would actually expect a shortage of reefers and some other car types.

BTW - woodchip cars are in that same retirement window. I've actually seen NEW private owner chip cars at Wallula, WA and in cottenseed service at Bliss, Idaho.
