In an extensive article about the continuing financial "problems" in Stockton, there was mention and video of the success of the Port of Stockton. Handling things that did not come in containers.

A video clip showed a cut of long flats carrying very large cans, reportedly containing sections of wind turbines from their European manufacturer. Presumably the power at the other end of the cars was CCT.
