"...the first Siemens Charger long-distance locomotive for Amtrak remains on pace for delivery in February or March 2021;
Amtrak has ordered 75 of the locomotives" (12/21/18)


If it takes three years-ish to build one unit, will the order of 75 be complete around the year 2170 ???

The open design of the body seems like it will love snow.

Did I read that the cab seat sits a bit too low for crew safety comfort plus it has reduced vision due the window frame?
