While that IS funny, this project is not being built or paid for by Amtrak. The platform is being constructed and paid for by San Joaquin Joint Powers Authority, the organization responsible for the Amtrak San Joaquin trains. The parking lot, utilities, and roadway improvements are being constructed and paid for by the City of Oakley.
