This may not be appropriate for this venue, but does anyone know how to correct Windows Photo Gallery operating in Vista for the following problem: After successfully downloading some photos of the Lodi depot from the Library of Congress, the finished images briefly open in correct proportion to the originals (full scans of 4x5 negatives), but after a brief pause, they change to a square format, thereby causing unwelcome condensed vertical squeezing. They also remain this way in Slide Show mode. I've not had this problem before.
