Here are a few of SP 2472's adventures down the San Francisco Peninsula. It was always a treat to see it steam at high track speed.

SP 2472 takes a Christmas special southbound near Brisbane, California in December of 2002.

SP 2472 leads the 1995 "Gilroy Garlic Train" to the depot at Burlingame, California.

A plume of smoke indicates that garlic passengers have boarded at Burlingame and the 2472 is off for the Santa Clara Valley.
