I'm pretty sure (almost positive) the first picture is at the Pilgrim Creek Road crossing a little over two miles east of McCloud. The rails now end just west of the crossing. Definitely isn't the Medicine Lake road in as much as the Bartle siding would have been to the right of the train. The second photo is at the bottom end of the McCloud yard, at the Tucci Avenue crossing. The building directly ahead of the #25 is the shed over the original scale, it would be removed in 1970. The building to the right of it is the old coach storage shed, also known as the "Paint Shop" in later years. The #25 would spend a great deal of time stored in it when Great Western owned the locomotive. You can just see the shop in the background. The tracks going to the right are the spurs into the sawmill and the warehouse building built around the old machine shop.

They are great photos.
