Interesting overhead in 1930.

What is the bridge that crosses the river? It looks like it could be another rail line (spur?) that crosses the old highway twice. I think it was at Scenic where the old rail line (pre-modern Cascade Tunnel) switchbacked, so it's probably not that... Must have been important to justify a bridge to the North side. Do any remains of it exist today?

Interesting that nothing lies on the North side of the river, where the newer highway 2 is located.
