CORRECTION:
-"Mansfield bars" (rear underrun protection system) were not mandated until 1998! There have been more deaths (yellow flash tape) and the lobby fights FULL UNDERRUN PROTECTION
-two axles and added length became standard before the decade was out (start with 1955 truck trailer service via internet search engine,op)
-I miss the single axle SP trailer used that was used for storage in the little UP signal yard in Paso Robles (2007ish)
