Defining a person by what he or she drinks? You know, you really may be onto something, here.
On a Southwest Chief trip from Chicago to Albuquerque, my girlfriend and I enjoyed a Hahn wine served on board which turned me into a fan of the Santa Fe and its glamorous fleet of Chief passenger trains. Enjoying a glass of wine while zipping across Midwest in a diner really made us feel like VIPs!
A recent visit to New York State where I saw the Genesee River inspired me to drink a couple of Genesee Cream Ales at a local tavern. The Erie Railroad crossed New York State through its Southern Tier through which the Genesee River also passes. Drinking Genesee made me a fan of the Erie Railroad, a railroad which was much more prosaic than the Santa Fe. Therefore, I am a more down-to-earth person when drinking Genesee.
Yup, it's amazing how a someone's personality can be predicted by his or her choice of alcoholic beverage. A hearty thanks to "Sierra Nevada" for pointing this out!
