There are not now and never were any cracked DDA40X trucks.
If you are so certain of this, name one, by locomotive number.

As for parts, except for a few specific module cards, which got tossed in the trash deliberately in 2011,the locomotive was completely overhauled, including completely new-from-EMD engines, generators and traction motors.

So except for the obvious intent to screw up the future by trashing a few new parts and by deliberately not installing PTC on this locomotive (or the E9s when the rest of the locomotive fleet was being equipped), 6936 will never lead again.

Nor will it trail 4014 because it wasn't you-know-whose idea to have it around.
