Whatever ever happened to the SF Bay Area NOR CAL club

Anyone know whatever happened to the NOR CAL railfan club that was based in SF Bay Area for many years? I rode a SF Muni trip with the club back in early 1980's on Muni streetcar #1.
Is the club still active. any infor appreciated.
