I believe the ore came from the Gabbs area but don't recall what it was. There may have been other mines that loaded there too. SP had long trains out of Mina and Luning through the 1970's with 3,4,5 units. I tried following one once, but the track speed was so slow between Luning and Thorne I gave it up. I believe all the run around tracks were at the end of the line at Mina. The Mina depot used to have a cafe where crews ate. All of that including the shop building, tanks and both Mina & Luning Depots are gone now. They were C&C/T&G structures.
