Monterey Branch Salinas River Bridge reportcluck

We have a Monterey County hearing coming up after New Years to try and gain permission for our handcar enterprise summer 2021. We have been given some encouragement to make our proposal less controversal to host it north of Marina. We can't consider it this year because an important grade crossing has been paved over and then there is the Salinas River Bridge. I (the great) asked if they had any reports for the bridge and I (the great) got pointed to this detailed document with what is needed for it in 2010 It is not anywhere near the high $38 million price tag that (redacted) has alluded to in the past. Ten years later I (the great) am going to assume the replacement cost is about the same as the repair costs.
