Doesn't give me any hassle. Firefox with NoScript, and scripts on sfchronicle.com and hearstnp.com are both blocked by default; that probably helps.

At least this article isn't at the Examiner. That website is unusable with all the trackers and ads and scripting demands. No paywall, but it no better than having one.
