Hey thanks a lot for the nice comments. I took the photo just after 5 pm. About 5:10 the Tacoma bound Sounder second to the right leaves and the scene isn't as interesting in my opinion. The rest leave shortly after that.

I wanted to get the station as full of trains as possible and at the time of night when the ambient light in the sky falls off to just under the level of the city lights. I've taken a lot of shots at this location after dark, and I think the sky is just too boring in flat-black. I think the pic could be better if I could catch some horse tail clouds reflecting the last of the orange sunset, but only a few days a year allow the lighting to be just right and the rest were full of rain.
