Get them while they last! Here’s a reminder about the 2021 Railroads of Montana and 2021 Milwaukee Road in Montana calendars. This year’s Railroads of Montana calendar features railroads from all corners of the state - 1980s vintage Amtrak, Montana Western in Durant Canyon, Montana Rail Link at Blossburg, Burlington Northern on the Big Horn Subdivision, Central Montana Rail’s Charlie Russell Choo-Chew on the Judith River Trestle…and more!
In addition, each month has an inset photo of more Montana railroad scenes. The last two pages contain a photo essay of Anaconda and its railroads. As always, the calendar includes scores of important dates in Montana transportation history and dozens of railroad logos.
For you Milwaukee Road fans, check out the Milwaukee Road in Montana 2021 calendar. This calendar contains 12 full-size photos along with monthly inset photos. The majority of photographs are from the lenses of Jerry Quinn and Ed Lynch. This year’s calendar includes bonus articles on the E70 and Butte, Anaconda & Pacific photographs of Charles “Chuck” Heimerdinger Jr.
My 92-page "Dale Jones Photo Diary - Western Railroads 1960s thru 1980s” book, is on its second printing, this full--color 11x8.5 landscape format soft cover book is a compilation of my Great Northern and early Burlington Northern [with some SP&S] photographs.
Follow my photographic journey from the 1960s thru 1980s around Washington's Inland Empire.
The book includes over 150 color images from these chapters.

BTW: This month – January 2021- I will be releasing a new Spokane International Railway book titled, “Spokane International Railway – Modelers Notebook & Photographs and Words of Larry Shavwer”
It highlights with words and a few of the over 3,000 photographs of Larry Shawver, one the most ardent chroniclers of this relatively small railroad in Eastern Washington and Northern Idaho. Larry grew up near Sandpoint, Idaho and at an early age became enthralled with this 141 mile long railway link from Spokane, Washington entering British Columbia at Eastport, Idaho. His photographs are almost legend, but few have ever read the stores of the man behind the camera.
That is the focus of this book along with over 100 photos to assist modelers.
