Wow;

A railfan excursion and someone had a camera and took pictures!

To think that in the 1960's Santa Fe had tons of passenger cars to use om excursions and extras.

I rode the bus as a kid to Escondido to see one that ran there. No one told the guys at the Silica sand plant that Santa Fe was running a Sunday train, so they did not clean out the grade crossing where the earth movers crossed. The excursion derailed there on the way back from Escondido. (Finis)
