That is a 3 year old article. Do you have anything more up to date. The article says the cost ballooned to just over 10 bill. Isn't the projected cost higher now?

San Jose was no stranger to half finished projects. Remember all the years we had the 280 to 101 interchange bridges built with no ramps up to them. At the time it was used often as an example of a failed government project. Finally money was found to finish the project and now no-one thinks about the 20 or so years that it stood as a civil engineering joke. I'm not so sure the CAHSR is going to turn out as well.
