France seems to be vacillating on its nuclear electric power generation program. Getting rid of the radioactive detritus is expensive. So they are going into wind and solar big time. Ripping out foliage to put in solar array farms. Controversial. Neighbors hate the grinding windmills but the people who own the land the "aeoliens" are on love the checks.
