As much as we "purists" might turn our noses up at Thomas, the kids love it. I've heard the host railroads don't mind either, as the whole Thomas thing is a literal cash cow. Think of it more as "Thomas the Bank Engine". What the heck, if it generates interest in what is otherwise a dying hobby.
