No one is policing you. That said, I apologize for both the pointing the "there/their" stuff and the tone of my post. Over the past two days I made some bad typos (karma, I guess). Again, I am sorry for being a jerk.

Regarding mainline steam, while the previous regime at Amtrak made decisions making main line excursions impossible, I am hopeful that will change in the future. With respect to 261 excursions, Canadian Pacific was first to get in the act by doing something (don't know what it was) to prohibit excursions of any kind, including those with 261, on its system.
