I saw the incident moments after it happened. It disrupted traffic and I couldn't get south of Puyallup. When I saw the derailment while westbound on Stewart at about 19th Pl NW, I called KOMO1000 and KIRO advising them of the situation so that drivers would know to find alternate routes. Both stations had not yet heard of the situation. When I reached the engines, the conductor was just leaving the cab.

It was a highside flatbed car that derailed.
