hello trainers, I was wondering if anyone else is around the north bay Sebastopol/Santa Rosa area and heard the loud train whistle on the 11th of January. Out between Occidental and Sebastopol I heard a very loud engine blasting its horn, I don't know what track is out there. I know ages ago they ran redwood lumber out of Occidental and they are cleaning the old NCRA track to run again, but that passes through Santa Rosa which is far east of Sebastopol. It was definitely a freight train horn and not a semi truck or passenger train. If anyone has any information, it would be exciting to hear about trains in Sebastopol area. thanks
