British A1 Tornado 60163 Takes To Mainline This Weekend

The recently completed British Peppercorn Project, A1 Tornado 60163 is taking to the mainline this weekend with revenue trips on Saturday & Sunday.

Thanks to well known British photographer Steve Armitage, we have a fresh image of her decked out in her new paint scheme and in the sun.

Fortunately, this engine has a strong schedule ahead of her for the 2009 season which should provide many photo ops in the months ahead as well as the incentive to hop across the pond and ride for yourselves if the opportunity avails itself for anyone interested.
