The zombie epithet comes from another recent anti-HSR editorial; but I consider the living dead analogy appropriate. CAHSR cannot be killed because it is already moribund but cannot expire; alternately you could call it the RR version of the failed state. Detoured intentionally through low income areas, stuck with high labor costs, up against competition, ie. air, without fixed guideway plant costs, and facing now public distaste for mass transport out of health and security worries.
