It is the location I suspected, the image has been reversed from the original. If you mirror the image you can see that it is looking south/southeast toward the entrance of Bootlegger Canyon, with the Colorado River canyon in the background.

The track is on a high fill at this point, the road along the river which would not be very visible has probably been photo shopped out.
