GGRM upcoming operations

GGRM has anounced that they will be having an upcoming operation of the 2472 on the PLA's Niles Canyon Railway. It will be good to see her run again. See the link for details.

Does the GGRM still plan to find a new home on the penninsula or are they going to permanently join the PLA? Their runs on the penninsula were nice, but the 2472 looks a lot better hauling the PLA's collection of heavyweights than it does hauling Caltrain commute cars. What does the GGRM hope to achive by staying a separate entity?
