Well, if I interpret the original question correctly, they were asking about what's happening with the track to the Downtown Perris station, if anything. Yes, I understand that museums have politics, and money is needed to complete agreements with potentially hostile partners like Metrolink, and money and labor and management are needed to actually build it. If nothing's happening, perhaps somebody involved with the organization can confirm? It's just a question. I think I know the answer anyway, given the undercurrent of the discussion.
For those who want to know, when the Downtown Perris station was built, a pocket was included for a stub track from the museum. FWIW, a switch was also installed for connection to the museum. And the tracks in the street at the grade crossings south of the station were also installed. Nothing has been connected to that. Check Google for a view of the area: [
