I was out on the Portland Sub this last Friday and it was busier than I have typically seen it. Quite a few long train and quite a bit of long waits in sidings. Not totally sure how many were detours vs. holiday weekend traffic. I did end up chasing the WB (NB) Brooklyn Z-train which seemed have everything else taking sidings. Below is a shot of it passing through Troutdale.
