Service resumed on the branch for about a year or so, starting in May 2012, with MRL having worked out a deal with local governments to run trains. Weekly service, with GP9s 113, 120 and 127 usually working two at a time, went as far south as Victor, not sure it went to Hamilton by that point. Trains quit going to Darby in the late 90s, when the big mill there closed.
