Someone posted the article text on that other train board. There's also an article in the Marin IJ this week about how the outgoing GM deferred his retirement to the end of the year (originally scheduled for August), to allow for more time to find a replacement.

Surprised the online commentariat has not pounced on "even the GM couldn't retire on schedule" yet.
