Group asks city to increase ped safety

The most dangerous new street designs I have seen (not in SF) have to do with placement of bike lanes.

But I don't see how they can improve crosswalk safety as this group wants. It is up to you as a pedestrian to look both ways before you cross, and not look down at your phone.

Don't blame the city government if you get run over by a car.
