Last week Congress ADDED $25 billion in unrequested waste for DoD--mostly to increase employment in various Congressional districts. When Ms. Ernst votes against DoD waste I might listen to her. Government operates as a patronage distribution organ--tax the working poor to enrich the oligarchs.
