Also, I've learned not to engage in the chats. They are a cliquish bunch,
composed of quite a few know-nothings and purveyors of misinformation.

When I've tried to correct a few of the most egregious bits of fallacy, I've been shouted
down and threatened with banishment by the moderators who seem equally clueless.

When I've tried to broaden the discussion by pointing out historical facts
about the location and past operations etc, only a few intelligent people
seem interested. The rest of the boobs only care about the same-old-same-old
Amtrak trains which are exactly like yesterday's Amtrak trains and will look the same
way tomorrow.

I have seldom learned anything new or edifying from simply monitoring the chat.
