"Never say never" is my motto. I have seen far stranger things happen than the restoration of train service to Monterey. In a democracy the public will often changes. Those cities so opposed to trains in their backyards could change their minds at the next election. Or during the next gasoline crisis. So call it unlikely, call it improbable but don't call it impossible. And Sam, great photos as always.
