Where were the fact checkers when the New York Times was spewing all that B.S. about Brian Sicknick and a fire extinguisher? The "fact checkers" only go after conservatives, and they've been proven wrong on many, many news topics. Are we really so stupid to think that the "fact checkers" are the ultimate and final authority in whether facts are true or false? Did you know that the fact checker "Lead Stories" has been receiving financial aid from communist China?

Change the words "lot of people on the left" to read "refined people who are interested in the truth" and you'd be correct.

Interested in the truth? So they got their news from sources that you think are credible and they believed that Brian Sicknick was clubbed to death by Trump supporters, Trump urinated on hookers and Nick Sandmann hurled racial slurs, among other outlandish and totally false stories. Only CNN can position a reporter in front of a building that's fully engulfed in flames and he'll say that everything is "mostly peaceful."

Free speech = free to criticize those in power, and if leftists hate free speech, that makes Trump a Communist.

President Trump didn't do anything to shut down free speech. It's one thing to bad mouth a politician you don't like, it's another for someone like Jack Dorsey to censor the Twitter account of the President of the United States and Republican members of Congress because he doesn't like the opinions they express on Twitter. It's okay for the Taliban to have a Twitter account, though.

And what happens when the fact checkers are proven wrong? And that HAS happened.

Except under specific conditions, which are very limited, private companies don't have to honor Constitutional rights because the are "not Government entities". The Supreme Court said this about 25 years ago.

So a baker in Oregon has to bake a cake for a same-sex couple, but President Trump and other Republicans are not allowed to express themselves on social media accounts. Like Roe v. Wade, me thinks the Supreme Court is going to be revisiting this decision real quick. That's why all you jokers suddenly want to increase the number of people on the Supreme Court.
