CORP (an apt name) often appears to be a nothing more than a front for scrapping out the railroads. They appear to be a speculative operation out to make a buck off of the state or the scrap, it doesn't really matter. The plan to scrap Coos Bay and Siskiyou fell apart when the depression hit us, and the price of scrap fell through the floor. They were pulling this in California, with a line, too.
