In 2019 I heard on the Eugene Yard Channel a call for the yardmaster to come back to the office as there was a manager from Omaha waiting to talk to him about the steam passenger train. This was probably in prep for a 2020 visit which did not happen. Eugene has been a choke point in recent months. With trains tied down in Alford and Swain. The "Tank Farm" track which runs next to Danebo rd on the west side of the yard is the only place they could exhibit the train in Eugene. Currently it is well used with trains working it or tied down. Hopefully they can get operations smoothed out by next year.
