MRL SD45-2 #311 was recently repainted at Coast Engine and Equipment Company in Tacoma, WA. The locomotive was photographed on 7 Feb 09 as it sat outside the paint booth. Notice that the large white "W" was replaced with a smaller W in a red circle. This unit does not have the diagonal stripes on the nose or the words "Montana Rail Link" on the cab. Since the unit has not left CEECo, it may still receive the striping on the nose and other modifications before it departs.
