The locomotive is a class 01.10 ex German express train locomotive owned by a railroad museum in Rotterdam. It actually has a design speed of 150 km/h but is limited to 100 km/h (about 60 mph) in the Netherlands, because it only has a limited Netherlands cab signal system.
It is a three-cylinder 4-6-2. It was interesting to see how smoothly it ran on the super well-maintained NS infrastructure. When you watch the video, you notice that there are mainline switches designed to be taken at 100 km/h.
And yes, the flying junctions seen in the video are found all over the Netherlands.
There are lots of cab view videos (from EMUs or electric locomotives) from basically all lines in the Netherlands -- made by Dutch locomotive drivers themselves! Yes, in the Netherlands, it's okay to admit that you are a railfan and work for the railroad. The railroad administration actually set down some formal rules for these cab videos.
